Why use the TADS Program?
With the atrocity that is the epidemic of school shootings, JPX America, inc. saw the need for a less lethal tool inside our schools. We know that not all educators are comfortable with having a firearm in their classroom, which is why we offer a less-lethal option. The Threat Assistant Delivery System (TADS).
What is the TADS Unit?
The Threat Assistant Delivery System (TADS) is the name of a highly effective less-lethal pepper spray delivery system that uses a patented pyrotechnic propulsion system to launch an inflammatory agent. The TADS Unit uses a hotter OC (Oleoresin Capsicum) solution than any other OC formula on the market. It has a pyrotechnic delivery system and a user-friendly design to launch a blue OC solution at an assailant at 590 ft/sec (405 mph)
Who will have access to the Tads Unit?
The TADS Unit comes with a __x__" safe that can be mounted to a wall or other fixture. The safe can only be accessed via key that remains with the educator at all times in case of an emergency. This ensures that no unauthorized/uncertified personnel or students can gain access to the TADS Unit.
What does the course involve?
During this course participant(s) will be trained to operate and implement the TADS Unit in a safe and effective manner to stop any threat that may surface during the course of the school day. Additionally, they will be required to pass a written and practical test to complete the course. Once completed participant(s) will be presented with a certificate as an instructor of the TADS Unit.
